Connect with new friends through International Students Orientation

Pre-Arrival Connection Programme (PACP) is an online sharing session for incoming international students to gain essential information and resources to ease their transition to Singapore and NUS. Participants will hear from Peer Connectors, who are current students, about their campus experiences, have the opportunity to ask questions, and network with peers before their arrival!

Times: 9.30am-11am, 3pm-4.30pm or 8pm-9.30pm SGT (UTC+8)

Day 1: Friendship-Making Activities (morning) and Trail Experience (afternoon)
Dive into engaging friendship-making activities in the morning and explore places near NUS on a trail adventure in the afternoon. It's a perfect opportunity to connect with peers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Day 2: Singapore Touchdown Cultural Intelligence (CQ) Workshop
Join us for an exclusive CQ workshop, designed to provide you with strategies to enhance your CQ competencies and work effectively in intercultural situations.
We are offering multiple sessions throughout August. Choose one that best fits your schedule. Please note that vacancies are limited, and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Day 1 Friendship-Making Activities and Trail Experience: Multi-Purpose Sports Hall 1 (NUS Kent Ridge Campus), and various on-campus and off-campus locations.
- Day 2 CQ Workshop: Yusof Ishak House, Multipurpose Room 5, NUS Kent Ridge Campus.

Customise the start of your NUS journey withour new event, International Students: Choose Your Experience.
Choose from diverse offerings ranging from Singlish to nature walks, and a variety of campus tips tours - designed to help you meet peers of similar interests and help you feel at home.
In between your activities and tours, explore the bazaar for essentials, and visit helpful booths for settling-in support.
Most activities and tours are available in two slots.

- Chat with our friendly OSA Peer Connectors about settling into NUS & Singapore at the Ask-Me-Anything space.

- Wildlife Appreciation at NUS Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, with NUS PEACE.
- Vegetarian Food Tour: the VEGE Trail, by NUS VEGE.
- Halal Food Tour, by OSA Peer Connectors.
- Nature Walk, by OSA Peer Connectors.
- Campus Tips Tours to various Faculty & zones on Kent Ridge Campus (multiple options available), by OSA Peer Connectors.
Bazaar:
- Purchase preloved items to furnish your room at the Hostel Essentials Sale by InfiniUse (an initiative by NUS SAVE)
- Purchase handmade items to help you feel at home at the NUS Makers Alley, with booths by 20+ Makers.
