Peer Student Supporters (PSS)
Hey there! Feeling a bit blue or stressed out? PSS is here for you. Remember, you don't have to be an expert to offer a listening ear. Sometimes, a friendly chat is all it takes to brighten your day!
Introducing Peer Student Supporters (PSS) - Your Friendly Campus Allies!
🎓 Feeling a bit overwhelmed with student life, exams, or just navigating through those tricky emotions? We totally get it! Life at NUS can sometimes feel like a whirlwind, but guess what? You're not alone on this journey. That's where our fantastic Peer Student Supporters (PSS) come into play!
Who Are We?
We are your fellow NUS students who've been specially trained to be more than just buddies - we are your go-to pals for support and guidance. Our mission? To listen, empathize, and help you find the resources you need right here on campus. And the best part? You don't have to be a pro to be there for a friend. Sometimes, just being there and lending an ear can make all the difference.
Where to Find Us?
Catch us at Pitstop@UTown from Mondays to Fridays, 1-5pm. Drop by for a chat, share your thoughts, or simply hang out. Can't make it during those hours? No worries! Log on to the PSS chat on uNivUS app or shoot us an email at studentwellness@nus.edu.sg and we'll arrange a session that works for you.
What Else Do We Do?
We're not just here for one-on-one chats. Throughout the year, we organize some awesome outreach and wellness events to promote self-care and a sense of belonging. Trust us; you won't want to miss out on these! Stay in the loop by following us on Instagram @nus.pss.
Why Chat with a Peer?
Wondering why you should open up to a fellow student? Well, sometimes it's easier to connect with someone who's walking in the same shoes as you. Whether you're dealing with academic stress, personal challenges, or just need someone to talk to, we're here to listen without judgment. Plus, chatting with a PSS is like catching up with a friend - no pressure, just genuine support.
So, don't hesitate to reach out! Remember, it's okay to ask for help when you need it. We're all in this together, and together, we'll make your NUS experience the best it can be.
Looking forward to connecting with you soon!
