From Here, You Radiate: Yusof Ishak House Reopens

Organised by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), this milestone event is held in conjunction with WellNUS Festival 2025 and is part of NUS120 celebrations. Join us to celebrate the Re-Opening of Yusof Ishak House, as a vibrant space and the epicentre of student life.

Key Events

“A Glimpse Into Home” is inspired by the simple act of looking out your window and waving to a neighbour. It’s a quiet reminder of togetherness and community, tucked away in a corner of YIH. It brings people together – a memory etched into the four corners of a photograph.

Explore the different hotspots at YIH where history lives on. Participate in re-opening activities and collect stamps to redeem a Chagee drink of your choice.

Celebrate the everyday and intentional moments at YIH through a photo exhibition capturing life over the past four decades: from gatherings among peers and student life activities, to the humans of YIH and the different nooks of YIH that have shaped our shared experiences.

Venue: L5 Assembly

Join this student-led tour of YIH and discover how the space has been reimagined for sustainability while staying rooted in student life. Learn fun and functional facts about its features, connections, and rejuvenation! 

Time: 11:30am-12pm, 12:30pm-1pm and 1:30pm-2pm
Venue: Meet at PitStop@YIH

Discover the beauty of plants through this hands-on floral pressing workshop blending craft, science and nature! Collect and press real garden specimens, learn their names, and create your own postcards or bookmarks to take home.  

Time: 11am-11:30pm, 12pm-12:30pm, 1pm-1:30pm

'Want to discover new ways to care for yourself? Drop by the WellNUS Resource Fair to learn more about different aspects of well-being, connect with on- and off-campus resources, and pick up a welfare pack* for a little self-care boost!
