Since 1958, NUSSU RAG & Flag has been a defining highlight of Freshman Orientation and the largest FOP in NUS, bringing students together through purpose, creativity, and community.

In RAG (Receiving and Giving), freshmen spend weeks working together to design vibrant floats, create costumes, and put together high-energy performances. These efforts culminate in a dynamic live showcase at NUS University Town, where students celebrate their journey and thank the public for their support during Flag.

As highlighted by NUS President Professor Tan Eng Chye: "Student-led fundraising that began decades ago, has evolved into vibrant, meaningful and inclusive festivity. The essence however remains unchanged: it is a celebration of the NUS community's collective spirit of creativity and compassion."

Enjoy electric and colourful performances from faculties and halls, while learning more about the beneficiaries they're supporting

RAG & Flag offers freshmen a unique opportunity to make friends, build unforgettable memories, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

Joining us as Guest-of-Honour for this year's RAG Day is Mr Desmond Lee, Minister for Education, and Minister-in-Charge of Social Services Integration, who will address the audience and celebrate our students’ achievements.
