Who Are the NUS Enablers?

The NUS Enablers is a student interest group and the student arm of NUS’s Student Accessibility Unit (SAU), working to promote accessibility and inclusivity for students with accessibility needs on campus. See what we're up to!

Camp Themes

Our camp aims to guide first-year students into university life, provide a safe and inclusive environment to make friends, and share helpful resources available on campus. Our theme, "I'm ABLE!", stands for:

Accessible – our camp is accessible; we work to normalise accessibility needs and create accessible environments Belonging – we strive to build a sense of belonging for students with diverse backgrounds and abilities at NUS Loving – we seek to nurture a culture of self-love, empowering each person to treat themselves with kindness and respect Empathy – we aim to deepen empathy and understanding in ourselves and our community

Camp activities will cover a diversity of interests and activity levels, including a craft jam, a taste of accessible sports, an amazing race around campus, and a community dialogue. More details will be shared closer to the date.
