YIH Reopening: A Glimpse Into Home

Take photos and make memories with your friends! “A Glimpse Into Home” is inspired by the simple act of looking out your window and waving to a neighbour. It’s a quiet reminder of togetherness and community, tucked away in a corner of YIH. It brings people together – a memory etched into the four corners of a photograph.

The photobooth is inspired by my personal experiences of waving to my friends from my hostel window, connecting people who used to be strangers to a home on campus. With influences from traditional Peranakan shophouses and the flora and fauna from Ridge View Residential College, I hope its bright and colourful design would make your photos at YIH extra special.
