Assistive Devices

Review the content for examples and documentation required for acquiring assistive devices, technologies, and learning support services. Some devices and services may not require a medical document if the need is implied and can be explained. For advice and tailored solutions, contact the SAU.

Funded Assistive Technology

  • Current NUS Singaporean /PR students
  • Diagnosed with a permanent disability (Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing, physical, learning, Visual Impairment, ADHD, Autism)
  • Letter or report from a medical professional stating the need for the need for specified assistive device, technology or learning support service.
  • Estimated cost of assessment, which can be in the form of an email document displaying the cost or a quotation.
