"Singapore is not a melting pot, but a society where each race is encouraged to preserve its unique culture and traditions, and appreciate and respect that of others, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said on Friday (May 19).”

– Straits Times May 20, 2017

Building bonds of trust that connect across ethnic, social and cultural differences requires collaborative and continuous efforts of the community. The CEN was introduced in 2015 to connect various cultural and religious student groups in NUS, and strengthen ties amongst the diverse communities. The network provides opportunities for students of different backgrounds to come together and understand one another. More importantly, the interaction builds relationships and students learn from the rich diversity in society. There are 20 student groups in the Network.

Let’s celebrate, learn and appreciate diversity on campus.

mOSAic@NUS brings together individuals and communities from various backgrounds in the NUS community to learn, celebrate and appreciate the diversity among us.
