Welcome to NUS! We're excited to announce that the NUSSU International Students' Buddy Program (ISBP) sign-ups are now OPEN! 🌍✨

Are you a first-year international student eager to start your journey at NUS with the right support? Look no further! The ISBP is here to pair you with friendly local students who'll help you navigate campus life, academics, and social events. Make friends, build connections, and feel at home from day one! 🏫🤝

The ISBP will kick off with a Welcome Tea at the beginning of the semester, setting the stage for a semester full of memorable experiences and lifelong friendships. We’ll also have ongoing events and activities to keep the bond strong and fun.

🌟 How to join

Simply sign up through the NUSync form where you can share your interests, faculty preferences, and other pertinent details. This helps us pair you with buddies who share your interests, ensuring meaningful connections and a dynamic support system. You will get matched with a buddy of similar interest through a sign up form.

Embark on "Diversity Dash," an Amazing Race through Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam to uncover Singapore's rich cultural roots. In Chinatown, explore the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, solve puzzles at the Chinatown Heritage Centre, and hunt for traditional kueh. In Little India, identify spices at Tekka Centre, create henna art, and assemble a mandala puzzle. In Kampong Glam, visit the Sultan Mosque, play traditional Malay games, and taste Malay kueh on Bussorah Street. This adventure tests your knowledge and skills, deepening your appreciation for Singapore's diverse heritage. Join us for this unforgettable adventure and experience the thrill of discovery while immersing yourself in the vibrant cultural tapestry of Singapore!
