In Upstairs, Downstairs, and In Between, the NUS Angklung Ensemble transforms familiar university spaces into living soundscapes; infusing halls, stairways, and open corners with layered melodies.

The performance is an exploration of how music brings people together and can refresh an otherwise ordinary space. A collaboration with NUS Fingerstyle Guitar, Upstairs, Downstairs, and In Between blends the distinctive timbres of the angklung with the guitar to create a uniquely textured sound. Expect an immersive auditory experience, followed by an interactive finale, where you can learn to play the angklung.

Meeting Point: Please gather on the Atrium Stairs at level 3 of YIH. The performance will commence from there and conclude at the Social Commons at level 2.
