Crossings by NUS Dance Synergy reimagines the 19th-century ballet, Giselle, as a contemporary, site-specific exploration of love, loss, and the choice we face.
Set within the building’s living architecture, the performance invites audiences to experience alternate paths and endings. Rather than a simple retelling, Crossings is a choreographic dialogue that challenges the immutability of narratives through agency and empowerment.
Directed by Yarra Ileto, with guest choreographer Edwin Wee, Crossings explores the classic story of Giselle through a dance-theatre.
