The Legend of Hang Tuah: Redux reimagines the tale of legendary Malay folk hero, Hang Tuah, and his companions. Navigating shifting loyalties and broken bonds on his path to glory, the play explores the nuances of power, morality and love that transcend time and space.

A novel, sincere response to Randy Baker’s original script by NUS Stage, the performance draws on elements of silat, maskwork and Asian epic theatre. Directed by Chong Tze Chien and featuring original music by NUS Electronic Music Lab, The Legend of Hang Tuah: Redux presents a captivating dialogue between myth and reality.
