Lion in the Man portrays the journey of Aiken, a newcomer to a lion dance troupe. Through rigorous training, clashes with other members, and moments of self-discovery, Aiken learns the discipline and rhythm needed to engage in this storied art form. 

Lion in the Man is a short film inspired by the experiences of members of NUS Lion Dance. Featuring real performances, the film is a raw, heartfelt portrayal of Lion Dance’s tradition and significance. Lion in the Man is brought to you by nuSTUDIOS Film Productions together with NUS Lion Dance.

The film duration is 10 minutes and does not include additional behind the scenes footage or trailers. Audiences are welcome to enter and leave the venue within the stipulated times.
